How to Get Here

By Bus:

Although there is no direct bus route to the EICA, Lothian Buses service 20 stops in the town of Ratho which is just along the canal towpath to our centre. Get off at the bus stop opposite The Bridge Inn. Head back over the bridge and down to the Union Canal towpath. Take a walk along the towpath, west past The Bridge Inn (away from the new build houses) which will take around 15 minutes. Arrive at EICA via staircase on right of the path.

By Bike from Livingston, Uphall, Broxburn and Edinburgh:

Cycle routes take you from Livingston, Uphall and Broxburn and converge at the side of the Union Canal by Muirend. From Muirend follow the side of the canal past Clifton Mains to EICA. You can also cycle from Fountainbridge in central Edinburgh along the Union Canal, past Longstone and over the City Bypass, through Ratho and then come up the staircase to our doorstep.
